Fairies are small winged fey native to Caelra. They inhabit many parts of the Realm of Impulse and have developed communities within forests, cultivated landscapes, settlements, and other regions where their size and flight permit forms of habitation very different from those common among larger peoples.
Caelra’s responsiveness to repeated action and expressed intention has influenced fairy societies in countless local ways. Long-used gathering places, paths through dense growth, shared gardens, workshops, ritual spaces, and boundaries can accumulate relationships that remain meaningful for generations. Fairy settlements can therefore be difficult for outsiders to recognize even when they occupy a well-developed landscape, particularly when their structures are integrated into vegetation, cliffs, larger buildings, or other features built at a different scale.
Beyond Caelra
Fairies have reached Kor Sirok through the long history of contact between the physical world and Caelra. Individual travelers are more common than large permanent populations, but families and small communities can be found near enduring planar connections or in places with long traditions of interaction with Caelran peoples.
Their ability to fly and their small size shape everyday practical concerns on Kor Sirok, but neither prevents fairies from participating in larger settlements. In cities accustomed to varied ancestries, fairy residents often adapt existing spaces or create smaller rooms, passages, furnishings, and work areas within structures originally built for larger inhabitants.
