Kobolds are a small draconic people found in scattered communities across Kor Sirok. Their strongest historical associations are with regions that have long supported dragons and Dragonborn populations, particularly parts of Auslura and Aesala. Many communities occupy caves, mines, ruined fortifications, and settlements built around confined underground spaces.
Kobold traditions frequently connect their ancestry with the ancient arrival of dragons from Dravakar. Some traditions claim Kobolds accompanied the earliest dragons to Kor Sirok, while others describe ancestors transformed through prolonged proximity to dragonkind. The surviving accounts are old, contradictory, and difficult to verify.
Modern Kobold settlements range from communities closely associated with dragons to independent villages, mining enclaves, and neighborhoods in mixed cities. Kobold artisans, miners, traders, and adventurers are uncommon but familiar throughout much of the settled world.
