Kasser Stoutdancer was a dwarven merchant and antiquities dealer in Arkrist. His knowledge of unusual objects had made him a potential source during Dizra Moonwind’s investigations, but in 8793 SE Kasser disappeared after entering a warehouse in the city.
Investigators later discovered a concealed alchemical and ritual workspace beneath the warehouse. Kasser’s body was found hanging inside a cage there, and the circumstances of his death helped establish that Arkrist’s recent disappearances were connected to organized ritual killings rather than ordinary crime. The current record does not establish why Kasser was selected as a victim or whether his antiquities work had any direct connection to the conspiracy.
