Zackon Truehelm was a member of the Brass Blades and one of the most prolific and talented mapmakers of the 88th century SE. He went into hiding in the slums of Elgaard after Luther Mortanas nearly destroyed the organization, but returned in 8751 SE to help rebuild the Blades under Davrek Valzorwyn and Phelps.
Truehelm eventually retired from the Brass Blades and founded the Truehelm Institute of Cartography in 8762 SE. The company and professional guild grew beyond its original Elgaard office, and the maps produced under its name became widely regarded among the finest available on Kor Sirok.
