The Goldreach Estate is the former Arkrist residence of the gnome alchemist Farvyn Goldreach. By 8793 SE the property had fallen into disrepair after Farvyn’s disappearance and was trapped in a legal dispute between his daughter Alumila Goldreach and his estranged second wife Helza Goldreach. That dispute complicated direct intervention by the Justiciars even as dangerous incidents around the estate began affecting nearby residents.
Farvyn had used the residence for alchemical experimentation. Investigators found animated stone creatures, petrification hazards, hidden formulae, and evidence that Farvyn himself may have died as a result of his work. Two conflicting wills were also recovered, one of which appeared to have been written under duress.
The estate became the first formal contract undertaken by the adventurers who later called themselves the Drakefire Phalanx, working through the Leviathan Chapter of the Casque & Gauntlet.
