The adventuring group now known as the Drakefire Phalanx first came together in Arkrist on 14 Yilaver 8793 SE. The original members met during a street fight involving diseased rats and soon afterward accepted work through the Leviathan Chapter of the Casque & Gauntlet. Their first formal contract sent them to the Goldreach Estate.
For much of their early career the group had no formal name and was known simply by its association with the Drakefire Peninsula. After months of work in and around Arkrist, travel through the peninsula, and the retirement of Flutter, the remaining adventurers adopted the name Drakefire Phalanx. Quill joined as Flutter’s successor in the active adventuring party.

Major Campaign Arcs
The group’s early investigations in Arkrist exposed The Voiceless, the hidden prison of the shadow dragon Xumanon, and the betrayal of Guzzax within the Wraith River Union. Their later travels followed Koriana Ipswitch through Thermeira, Tarentum, Squall’s End, and Mesus, eventually leading into the fractured reality surrounding Ipswitch Manor.
After returning to Arkrist, the Phalanx became involved with the Nharvek antiquities dealer Tressedekt and traveled into the Gulf of Keravnos, where they explored the Sunken Ruins of Keravnos and recovered the Memosphere. That discovery led them toward the Eye of Visthuun and eventually to Khaz’Vel’Tor in the Ashfire Cradle.
