Assad is a prince in exile whose personal quest centers on recovering an ancestral Liyonir blade and proving himself worthy of leadership. He is sometimes addressed dismissively as a “princeling,” but takes the responsibilities attached to his heritage seriously.
He shares a close familial bond with Dizra and has repeatedly acted as one of Dizra’s strongest anchors when strange visions, psionic changes, and the influence of Visthuun began to affect him. During the exploration of the Cliffside Temple, Assad claimed a lightning-charged khopesh recovered after the activation of one of the site’s ancient planar engines.
