Flutter began the campaign as one of the founding members of the group that later became the Drakefire Phalanx. She was already connected to Arkrist’s information networks through the Hoot and Holler and maintained relationships with the Wraith River Union. Two people she treated as family, Joham and Elmfrid, were among the citizens abducted during the Voiceless crisis.
After Guzzax’s death, Umtix Nimblefingers offered Flutter the title of Dawn and leadership of the Union. She initially declined, preferring to focus on the Hoot and Holler and on helping flightless Nyvaryn. She later retired from active adventuring and accepted leadership of the Wraith River Union, intending to reshape both organizations toward protection, information gathering, and nonviolent resistance where possible.
Flutter introduced Quill to the other adventurers as her successor in the active party.
