Eichenburg is a human settlement in the mountains of Auslura, located close enough to the Dragonborn village of Phalygos for the two communities to maintain contact across the high country. Little is recorded publicly about its government or ordinary institutions, but its survival during the Harrowing became part of the remembered history of the region.
In 8753 SE, Eichenburg was threatened by walking dead during the Harrowing. Phalygos, which had escaped some of the disaster’s worst local effects, sent warriors to help defend the settlement. The event is one of the clearest surviving examples of cooperation between neighboring communities in this part of Auslura and demonstrates how much isolated settlements can depend upon local relationships when wider institutions are too distant to respond quickly.
