The Ondulux River is an established waterway on Danto that reaches the island’s southern coast at Pakuley. The capital stands at its mouth, where the river meets the Mitan Sea, placing the Ondulux within the landscape of Danto’s largest city, national government, and principal center of foreign contact.
Upstream, the river passes through the interior terrain shaped by Monlandife and the long history of volcanic activity that formed much of the island. Dantari settlement generally follows existing slopes, waterways, vegetation, and natural contours rather than imposing a rigid plan upon them, and the Ondulux is one of the geographic features around which that pattern of settlement has developed. Its full course has not been divided into extensively named regions in the surviving geographic material.
