Klelthar Zrakul was elected Eponymous Archon of Arkrist in 8788 SE. The office made him the city’s head of state, chief bureaucratic official, and presiding leader of the Synod, giving him substantial influence over the legislative side of Arkrist’s government during his term.
Klelthar served within a political system in which the city’s eleven noble families exercised strong influence over elections to the three senior Archon offices. His office was due to return to election at the end of 8793 SE. The current record does not establish the outcome of that election or Klelthar’s later political career, so his article should be read as a historical snapshot of the period immediately before it.
