Tygrom Lathgerr was an associate of Koriana Ipswitch in Arkrist whose knowledge of her movements made him important during the investigations surrounding The Voiceless in 8793 SE. The precise nature of their relationship and Tygrom’s ordinary profession are not established, but he knew the location of Koriana’s safehouse and that it contained a concealed room. When Korth Rawlins and his companions first questioned him, Tygrom was reluctant to become involved but eventually disclosed the safehouse’s location.

After Koriana’s coded message was recovered, Umtix Nimblefingers directed the investigators back to Tygrom for help deciphering it. Tygrom initially refused, explicitly fearing for both Koriana’s safety and his own. Helnharr Jamis and Justiciar Ollabar Wyvernpike subsequently arranged for him to work on the message overnight, but Tygrom was murdered in his study before he could deliver a completed translation.

Magic used to question Tygrom’s corpse recovered two useful pieces of information. He supplied the word Alabaster, which proved necessary to decode part of Koriana’s message, and reported that his attackers had worn masks. The resulting translation pointed the investigators toward Thermeira and named several of Koriana’s contacts, becoming an important step in the pursuit that eventually led to Ipswitch Manor. The surviving record does not firmly establish the identity of Tygrom’s killers.
