Arcanist Thordahr was the House Arcanist for the Foehammer Clan in Krynhold. He became an ally of the Brass Blades after helping them identify and locate Zhaken Amberheart in 8751 SE. After the Blades rescued Fenro from Amberheart, Thordahr gave Fenro a place to live while the group sought a way to restore his damaged mind.
Thordahr was also a committed traditionalist in Krynhold politics. He opposed the populist movement led by the Stonesinger Clan and viewed its claims about the treatment of miners and other workers as inseparable from the clan’s desire to seize political power. The revolution succeeded in 8753 SE, displacing the long-dominant Blackbanner Clan from leadership of the Council of Five Hammers and establishing Stonesinger predominance without abolishing the older council system. Thordahr’s opposition reflected a political disagreement over that transformation rather than knowledge that the new government was secretly nefarious.
