The Leopard Song Order is the largest and most influential of the Djozanates of the Kenai Mountains. Its monastery stands on Kai Song Peak, the highest of the eleven major monastic peaks, and its surrounding Djozanate is the largest of the eleven spheres of influence. That position has traditionally given Leopard Song considerable prestige in convocations among the Djozans, although it possesses no formal authority to command the other orders.
In the early 8750s SE, the order became the center of the Grand Army of the Djozanates. Yuen Lung, then Djozan of Leopard Song, fell under the magical influence of Dhuulan Havar, who operated under the identity Hiuh Lao and served as the order’s Sword Arm. Through Leopard Song’s prominence and the wider manipulation of other Djozans, Dhuulan was able to place forces from all eleven Djozanates under a common military command.
The Brass Blades broke Dhuulan’s influence in 8753 SE. After his defeat, Yuen Lung named Chan Kong-Sang as his successor. Chan accepted the appointment, after which Yuen transmitted the secret knowledge carried by every Djozan and died upon completion of the succession rite. Chan later returned to the Kenai Mountains to lead Leopard Song.
